MUMBAI: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is no more, he was 67. He was fighting a 2 year-long battle with cancer. He was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital situated in Mumbai. His actor wife Neetu Kapoor was there by his side as he breathed his last.
It was legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan who took to Twitter to confirm the news. The actor seemed really devastated through his recent post:

Earlier, the news of the actor getting hospitalised was confirmed by Randhir Kapoor, his elder brother, "It’s true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some problem, so we admitted him early this morning,” Randhir had said on Wednesday evening. Asked if it was an emergency situation, Randhir said: “That’s why he has gone to the hospital. But I know that he will be alright. Neetu (Kapoor) is by his side.”
Rishi was the second son of later actor Raj Kapoor and had 4 other siblings -- Rima Jain, Randhir, Rajeev Kapoor and Ritu Nanda. He debuted into Bollywood with the film 'Bobby' alongside Dimple Kapadia. The movie came out in the year 1973. He also posed as a child actor in films like 'Shree 420' (1955) and 'Mera Naam Joker' .(1970)
He was a part of box office smashes like Rafoo Chakakar, Bol Radha Bol, Sargam, Karz, Amar Akbar Anthony and Laila Majnu. He was also featured in tons of contemporary films like D-day, 102 Not Out, Kapoor And Sons and Mulk.

The actor was last seen with Emraan Hashmi in the film 'The Body'. It was also announced that he will be starring in the Bollywood remake of the film called 'The Intern' with Deepika Padukone.
