MUMBAI: After impressing everyone through his role as the protagonist in superhit show, 'Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga', on SAB Tv, star Siddharth Nigam talks about how this lockdown period has proved to be quite beneficial for him. He mentions how he got close to his family, especially his brother.
He shares, "My brother, who is pursuing law and is in acting as well, stays in Pune for his studies. Earlier, whenever he used to come to Mumbai, we never got the time to do things together as my shooting schedule was really hectic. But the lockdown phase gave us the chance to really bond with each other. We enjoyed family time by playing pranks on each other, cracking jokes and sharing a lot of things as all siblings do. So it was great fun."
The actor admitted that even though lockdown has been quite positive for him, he still misses the shooting period and the sets of Aladdin, "For the first 15 days I really chilled out since I was getting a break after a long time, but when the lockdown was extended, I started missing my work and shooting. But I also used the time to plan things which I was not able to do due to my acting engagements. "
The actor finally talked about his relationship with co-actress Avneet Kaur, who plays the role of Princess Yasmine. Fans love their chemistry and also believe that the duo is dating. But Siddharth has finally taken notice of the rumours and addressed them, he said, "We are just good friends. Our chemistry is like that of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol which even our fans think so.”
