Now Flipkart has joined hands with Nokia for the Smart TV segment. Nokia is going to launch its Smart TVs line up soon exclusively on Flipkart.
Nokia has partnered with JBL to integrate JBL's sound in its smart TVs. OnePlus included a soundbar in their smart TVs. We will need to wait and watch if Nokia does it better than OnePlus or not.
Nokia is prepared to launch its 55-inch LED smart TV on the 5th of December and this TV will be expected to launch at a price point of Rs. 40,000.
A source told, "Skyworth India Electronics, a subsidiary of China-based Skyworth Overseas Development Company, along with Skyquad will assemble the Nokia TVs in Hyderabad.”
“Working with Nokia allows us to further expand the choice of high-quality, technologically advanced products for Indian consumers. Nokia is a globally popular technology brand and enjoys immense brand recall, so we’re excited to start this journey with them to extend the brand into a fast-growing product segment.”
Motorola, OnePlus has recently launched its Smart TV series too. Now, Nokia is following the same but there is going to be USP to Nokia Smart TVs which is going to be JBL's Sound Program integrated into the TV. People always spend a fortune on sound systems after purchasing a TV so this problem will be solved by Nokia.
“Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the Nokia brand (not affiliated with HMD Global) in a new category. And where better to start than in India, where our brand has been trusted for quality, design, and reliability. Flipkart’s understanding of the needs and behaviors of Indian consumers and the power of its reach will help it make Nokia branded smart TVs accessible and affordable to many.”
The company knows people trust the name "Nokia" for quality so this is what they have planned in their mind they are going to provide some great Televisions with great built quality.
Nokia has made this decision to enter the Television market because the Smart TV sector is flourishing at a very high rate.
