Linkin Park's frontman late Chester Bennington's widow Talinda reportedly tied the knot with Los Angeles County firefighter Michael Fredman on 4 January 2020, five months after he popped the question.
Tabloids initially reported that she had tied the knot with Fredman on New Year's eve-- the same day she got married to Bennington in 2005. However, Talinda took to her social media to lash out at TMZ, who falsely reported the date and said "My anniversary with my love, Chester, JAN 1 Was NOT THE DAYE. Jan 1st will always be the day I married Chester." "SHAME ON YOU @TMZ" she concluded.

The wedding was a grand affair and took place in Hawaii at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku. The three children she shared with Bennington, son Tyler and twins Lilly and Lila were in attendance along with friends and other family members.
As per media reports, Bennington's family is happy for Talinda as she starts a new chapter in her life with Fredman. They believe he's had a positive impact on the children.

The wedding comes two years after Chester Bennington committed suicide on 20 July 2017, leaving fans and the world of music in shock and mourning.
Talinda announced her engagement three months ago with an emotional post on her Instagram account. "I will always love my husband, Chester. And I will keep honoring him by living MY life. A life of love and happiness. Because that’s what he would want for me", her caption read.
"I am overjoyed to announce my engagement to my angel on earth. Michael F. I am here to tell you that you can find love after tragedy. That a death of a soulmate does not mean the death of you", her post said.
