MUMBAI: AR Rahman, the pride of India and Oscar-winning musician has expressed how much fun he had while producing the soundtrack of the upcoming film '99 Songs' and how "amazing" it was.
The legendary musician said, "I had such amazing time writing, producing and scoring '99 Songs', even though it is more work than usual. Some of the songs had to evolve with the character and the story, whereas some play as part of the soundtrack."
The forthcoming film, '99 Songs' is directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. Apart from producing the music in the film, Rahman has also donned the hat of a co-writer and producer of the film. The film will mark the debut of Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. Other major roles will be played by Aditya Seal, Lisa Ray and Manisha Koirala among others.
