MUMBAI: Known for her incredible performance in films based on smashing the patriarchy and stereotypes, Taapsee Pannu is crushing it in the Indian film industry. She has worked in films like 'Pink', 'Mission Mangal', 'Sand Ki Aankh' and so on. The actress has already signed many other projects for the upcoming future and one of them includes a film which will be directed by Anurag Kashyap.
A source from the industry has said, "Anurag and Taapsee had a fabulous time working on Manmarziyaan and during the shoot itself, Anurag had offered this other film to Taapsee. It's a film that's a supernatural thriller and is mostly going to be a remake of a popular film. It's not known if it's inspired by a Hollywood film or a Korean project. But what we do know is that the film will have a time travel angle to it. It's something to do with the weather and atmospheric changes around us."
With a vision like Anurag Kashyap's Taapsee Pannu's involvement in a project like this seems like a cherry on top! Although everything is at standstill in the Bollywood industry with all the production work on hold due to the pandemic scare of Coronavirus, the source further mentioned, "The film will go on floors in a few months after Taapsee wraps up work on Haseen Dillruba and Rashmi Rocket."
The duo has previously worked on projects like 'Manmarziyaan', which also starred Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan and a thriller called 'Game Over'.
Her recent release, 'Thapppad' also ended up impacting the nation loud and clear with a message about domestic violence so simple that society had ignored for many many years. Her upcoming releases are 'Haseen Dillruba' and 'Rashmi Rocket'.
