NEW DELHI: A recent video went viral where Pakitan's Prime Minister Imran Khan was addressing people. What gained the eyeballs was his excellent comment on trees and their functioning. He said, "Trees produce oxygen at night", and what followed is the numerous trolls.
Pakistan journalist, Naila Inayat, recently shared a 15-seconds video where Khan was seen speaking those golden words out loud. The journalist shared the video with a caption: "Trees produce oxygen at night: Einstein Khan."

In the video, he said, "70 feesad jo green cover tha, vo kum hua, 10 saalo ke andar. Uske natayaj to aane the, kyunki drakht hawa ko saaf karte hai, oxygen dete hai raat ko. Carbon dioxide ko absorb karte hai. (70 percent of the green cover has been cut down in the last 10 years. We will have to face the repercussions of that because trees clean the air, they give out oxygen in the night. The trees also absorb Carbon dioxide.)"
It seems like Mr. Prime Minister is a little confused about the process of photosynthesis and how big a role sunlight plays in it.
Soon after, he became a victim of trolls where people questioned his 'oxford degree' and said that this is basic elementary knowledge. See some of the hilarious reactions by the Twitteratis here:
