NEW DELHI: India is all set to send a shipment of medical necessities to China amidst the life-threatening Coronavirus epidemic. Vikram Mistry, who is the Ambassador of India to China made the aforementioned statement on a Tweet on 16 February 2020.
He also posted a video and expressed his cohesion to the residents of China and it’s government regarding their battle against the extremely contagious virus.
The tweet read, “As a concrete step to tackle the outbreak, India will soon send a consignment of medical supplies to aid and assist China in tackling this outbreak.”

Another tweet added by the ambassador said, “India will do everything within its means to support the people of China in this hour of crisis.”

Misri also mentioned that the outbreak will soon be regulated successfully. He lauded the fortitude of the people hailing from China and the Government for making the epidemic known and evident to the rest of the world.
The ambassador also talked about India and it’s security regulations to stop the outbreak of the virus. “At present India is also facing the threat of infections from the novel coronavirus epidemic. Our country is working hard to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our people.”
