"The impact of CORONA crisis is massive, unprecedented and multi-pronged. We all got to do things which will ease the hardship of everyone around us and of our country at large," her note read.
"It is my first & foremost responsibility to take care of the different freelancers & daily wage workers who are currently associated with Balaji & who are about to suffer an immense loss because of no shootings during the current scenario and uncertainty over the indefinite period to follow.
"I would thus forsake my one year's salary which is Rs 2.5 crore at Balaji Telefilms in order that my co-workers do not have to suffer alone during this time of crisis and complete lockdown. the sole way ahead is Together. Stay safe, stay healthy," concluded the producer, who has given several hit daily soaps like "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii", "Kasautii Zindagii Kay" and "Naagin".
