BEIJING: Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus took the internet by surprise when it uploaded a mini video clip regarding a new device on the social networking site, Twitter. The video also contained the release date of the gadget. It will get unveiled tomorrow i.e. 3 March 2020.
The clip featured simultaneous shots of the upcoming device from multiple angles. Hence, it was hard to make out what exactly the smartphone company is bringing to the table.
Along with the video snippet, the official OnePlus account from the UK also reshared one of their tweets which mentioned that the company is working on a "special project", which neither a smartphone, not a commercial product.

The tweet read, "We're working on a special project (not a phone/commercial product!) and we'd love your thoughts on it.
Reply to this tweet if you're happy to give feedback, and we'll DM a small number of you some photos."
The multi-million dollar company also released Concept One, the concept smartphone at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2020). As it is a concept device, OnePlus said it won't be available for sale.
Apart from this, upcoming phone models like OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are also highly anticipated by the public from the company.

If alleged rumours and speculations are to be believed, the upcoming range of smartphones shall contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip and Android 10 bits. The 865 chipset is said to be loaded with 5g and will power many upcoming flagship-level Android smartphones. It has also become a part of the Samsung Galaxy S20 range. The latest Android version of Android 10 is already creating a buzz in the market for exciting features like the dark mode, smart reply, standard depth format, focus mode and so on.
A prototype of the forthcoming OnePlus 8 was also recognised which flaunted a dual punch-hole as well as a curved display, similar to the one in Oneplus 7 Pro.
The read end of the phone will contain a setup featuring quad-camera. It will have three lenses and a LED flash, placed vertically with the 4th camera adjacent to it.
