Amazon has announced its partnership with 'BookMyShow' to make the online ticketing platform available to amazon users. People will now be able to book movie tickets directly from inside the Amazon app under the 'Movie tickets' category.
Recently Amazon also announced its Amazon Food delivery service that was supposed to be launched officially on Diwali but it is still not released. Amazon is trying to cover each and every service.

The movie tickets option is available only on the company's app and mobile site but nothing related to movie ticket booking can be seen on Amazon's desktop site. According to the rumors, the movie ticket booking functionality will reach the desktop version of the website within a few weeks.
Buyers will be able to get a Rs.200/- cashback when they will book tickets through amazon. This offer started on November 1st and will last till November 14. The offer shows that it is available on mobile and web but by web they mean the mobile website because nothing is available on the desktop version of their site. It is available for both iOS and Android.
This BookMyShow and Amazon tie-up will allow users to buy movie tickets but it is still yet to be seen when the users will be allowed to book tickets for cricket matches, concerts, and other events.
Amazon might add these features soon.
