Apple Likely To Launch iPhone 9 On April 5?

SAN FRANCISCO: The Cupertino-based tech giant Apple may launch iPhone 9 or iPhone SE 2 on April 5 because the image of its protective case has appeared at online retailer Best Buy the US.

Apple is yet to officially reveal the launch date of the handset.

An image shared by a Best Buy employee shows an Urban Armor gear case for the new 4.7-inch 2020 iPhone.

However, there's no name on the case box and these cases, among others, are being sent to retailers, reports Mac Rumors.

Additionally, Best Buy employees are instructed to not showcase these cases until April 5, which indicates that the corporate could indeed launch the budget iPhone later in the week.

The upcoming iPhone is predicted to be a reasonable iPhone, just like the 2016 iPhone SE.

In terms of specifications, the iPhone 9 is predicted to have with a 4.7-inch display with a design that's almost like the iPhone 8.A

It is likely to be powered by the company's A13 Bionic chipset including either 64GB or 128GB storage variant.

A touch ID will also be part of the model, hence the home button has been positioned at the bottom of the display. But instead of there being an actual button, it will be touch-based.

The camera will be the same as the one used in iPhone 11, with 12 megapixels. It is alleged that the front camera's design has also been inspired by iPhone 11.
