HAMILTON: Beauty was defined by the Hit-man Rohit Sharma in the 3rd T20I of the 5-match series of India vs New Zealand. People are all praises from all around the world for the Indian opener and amongst them is the former Indian skipper Yuvraj Singh.
It’s always great to see a hero applauding another! The sixer-king praised the Hitman on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Brothaman you [email protected]”.

Sharma’s absolute master class performance power India to the third consecutive T20 win against the Kiwis. The win is also special for the Men in Blue considering this is the first series win on the NZ’s turf.
The super over win was a show of entertainment for every cricket lover. Both the teams tied on 179 runs which resulted in a super over to declare the winner. While NZ scored massive 17 runs in that over, Sharma’s two big hits on the last two balls helped India to clinch the series.
The match was definitely an example that a game is not over until the last ball is bowled as tweeted by India’s head coach Ravi Shastri. While we, Indians, had our heart in our mouths when 10 runs were needed in just 2 balls, Rohit came to our rescue.

“Never done that before (batting in Super Over). I didn’t know what to expect, whether to go from the first ball or wait for a while. I just wanted to stay still and then try my best (on the last two sixes). Good performance with the bat, disappointed at having thrown my wicket away though. I hadn’t got runs in the first two games, wanted to do well today. We knew we would win the series today if we win the match - in important games, the main players need to step up,” said Rohit Sharma who also became the well-deserved Man of the Match.
