NEW DLHI: The Indian Cricket team all-rounder Hardik Pandya took everyone by surprise when he announced his engagement on the New Year 2020 through his social media. The star is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Natasa Stankovic who is also a Serbian actress.
Taking it to his Instagram handle, Pandya announced the news to his near and dear ones and also to all his fans. Sharing pictures of himself alongside Natasa with a major focus on the engagement ring, he wrote, "Mai tera, Tu meri jaane, saara Hindustan. 01.01.2020 #engaged."
Soon after the big news, the comment section was flooded with several sweet congratulatory messages for the beautiful couple. Celebs like Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, Urvashi Rautela and many others showered their blessings.
Hardik's lady love Natasa posted a video of how the cricketer proposed to her and how she did not even take a second to think and reply affirmatively. We have to say they look so cute together. She captioned the video, "Forever yes."
The Indian cricket star is currently recovering from his back injury and that is why he has to miss out on the One Day International and Twenty20 International against West Indies and Bangladesh.
He will also be missing from India's upcoming series against Australia and Sri Lanka that will be played on the Indian turf. However, he has been named in the team's A squad for the New Zealand tour.
Hardik was last seen playing his international T20 against South Africa in September 2019 and soon after went for surgery for his lower back injury in London.
In an interview, the 26-year-old all-rounder revealed why he did not want to delay his surgery. He said, "We thought this was the right time because even if I take four months, I will be coming back before the New Zealand series, mid-way actually. That was the plan that I play some international games, the IPL and then the World T20. The biggest concern was the World T20 which touch wood is now in place."
Shivalik Journal wishes the pretty couple a beautiful life ahead!
