President Ram Nath Kovind's Visit Gets Cancelled Due To Coronavirus Scare

LUCKNOW: President Ram Nath Kovind was scheduled to attend a program in Sonbhadra district on March 15. However, the visit of the country's President has been cancelled keeping in view of the coronavirus scare in India. 

The President was supposed to attend Vanvasi Samagam and was also to inaugurate the new-built school and hostel of Seva Samarpan Sansthan of Akhil Bhartiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram at Seva Kunj Ashram in Sonbhadra's Chapki. 

"The district administration was gearing up for the programme that was scheduled to be held there. A large number of people were expected to attend the program but the event has been cancelled," Additional District Magistrate, Yogendra Bahadur Singh said. 

The epidemic virus, which got originated in China's Wuhan, has infected over 110,000 people across 90 countries in nearly three months.
