BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh's chief minister Kamal Nath met Governor Lalji Tondon at Raj Bhavan on late Sunday night in the midst of deepening the state's political crisis.
Even the BJP leaders met the governor earlier on Sunday. BJP leaders Gopal Bhargava and Narottam Mishra had met Tondon for not mentioning the floor test in the list of business of state Assembly's first day of the Budget session on Monday.
The Governor had written to CM Kamal Nath on late Sunday to ask him to prove his majority in the house. Following that, the BJP told him that the electronic voting system was not functioning in the house and then, in another letter on Sunday, Tondon told the CM that if the voting system was unfunctional then the members vote by raising their hands.
