LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Government led by Yogi Adityanath has created a record by ensuring the medical screening for coronavirus of 4.85 crore individuals in the state.
An official spokesperson stated, "Our medical teams have reached out to 4.85 crore people in more than 78 lakh households for medical testing for corona. Over one lakh medical teams are actively involved in screening people."

He also mentioned that Accredited Social Health Activist or ASHA workers are also part of the medical teams.
'Nigrani' Samitis got set up at village levels to observe individuals suspected of being COVID-19 positive and keep an eye on the ones who are in quarantine centres. The Samiti will also aid the concerned officials by keeping them up to date regarding the development in the rural area and help in medical screenings.
The Chief Minister addressed the medical teams on Wednesday, June 3 and said that more than 1 lakh medical meds are available in hospitals for treating coronavirus in level 1, 2 and 3 all over the state. Out of these, 2,000 beds also support ventilators.

The medical screening of all migrant labourers is being continued in the quarantine centres. The workers who have been returning home are also being given ration kits.
