Srinagar: A Jammu and Kashmir police officer, who has been arrested for ferrying three Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists across the border, had kept the latter at his home in Srinagar.
The details came out after raids were conducted at cop Davinder Singh's home in the city.
An AK rifle and two pistols were also found at Singh's home, said police sources.
It has been alleged that Singh, who was a decorated police officer, was helping some Hizbul terrorists to leave Kashmir when he was caught on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
According to the police sources, "Davinder Singh escorted the terrorists from Shopian in south Kashmir to his home on Friday and had them stay overnight."
It is to be mentioned that Hizbul Mujahideen's top commander Naveed Babui and his two accomplices Irfan and Rafi spent the night at the cop's home right next to the Army's 15 Corps Headquarters.
The officials told that the cop was helping the terrorists to set out for Jammu, from where they were planning to go to Delhi.
