NEW DELHI: With at least 640 active COVID-19 cases across the country, the number of positive cases surge to 724, said the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday.
Out of all the 724 positive cases, 66 people have been recovered completely and 17 people have lost their lives.
At Least 677 Indian nationals are infected whereas 47 are of foreign nationals. It has so far spread to 27 states and Union Territories. The highly contagious virus has infected a total of 103 districts all over the country.

This data was given by the Health Ministry on Friday at 9:15 am. The Ministry also said that a total of 15,24,266 passengers have been screened at different airports so far.
The country is in 21 days' lockdown, announced on 24th March, so as to restrict the spread of the virus. However, people in different states and cities are seen disobeying the orders, hence, risking their as well as others' lives.
