HYDERABAD: The total number of positive cases for the novel coronavirus remains at 39 as Telangana reported no new patient on Wednesday.
The Telangana Public Health and Family Welfare department released the status bulletin on 25th March that indicated that the state conformed no new positive case over the last 15 hours. The state health authorities had reported two new cases on Tuesday in the status bulletin at 11 pm.

P38 and P39- by which the last two cases were denoted were a police officer posted in Bhadradi-Kothagudem district and his domestic help. They got the disease with local transmission as the officer's son, who returned from London on March 18, was tested positive for the infection.
The state government has initiated disciplinary action against the errant police officer for flouting self-quarantine regulations in place for foreign returnees.
India, by far, has reported 562 positive cases for the pandemic COVID-19 with the death toll at 10.
