Case Against Corona Patient Gets Filed For Hiding Her Condition

AGRA: A case has been filed against a coronavirus patient and her family by the Agra district administration for hiding her condition of being infected. 

The case has been registered under sections 269 and 270 of the CrPC in Sadar Bazar police station of Agra.

The woman and her family misled a team of health department members who reached the suspected's house. The woman lives in the Agra Cantonment railway colony and recently travelled to Italy for her honeymoon. After the couple's arrival back in the country, the husband tested positive for the deadly virus in Bengaluru whereas the wife returned to her family. 

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the virus a global pandemic, last week. 

Over 1,45,374 positive cases have been confirmed on a global scale and more than 6000 people have lost their lives due to the COVID-19. Talking about India, so far, the country has confirmed more than 100 cases.
