Arvind Kejriwal Is Ill, Under Self Isolation, Will Undergo COVID Testing

NEW DELHI: The Chief Minister of the national capital, Arvind Kejriwal has fallen sick and is under self-quarantine. He has been showing symptoms like mild fever and a sore throat. Hence, he is due to get tested for COVID-19 tomorrow. As a result, the CM has cancelled all his meetings, as per Aam Aadmi Party.

Kejriwal has been unwell since the afternoon of Sunday i.e. June 7. He has not met anyone since then and has been isolating himself in his home office situated in Delhi.

The MLA of AAP, Raghav Chadha revealed, "He is running a fever and has a sore throat, which happens to be COVID symptoms. So doctors have advised him to take a test tomorrow."

He also revealed that the CM has diabetes, which is also a matter of grave concern as it makes him immunodeficient. 

Chadha mentioned, "The symptoms started showing since yesterday afternoon. He hasn't interacted with anyone since then. There were long meetings over the last few days over video. But he did come in direct contact with members of the party, cabinet, bureaucrats."

Apart from this, many leaders from AAP began tweeting get well soon messages for Kejriwal.

Jarnail Singh, an MLA from AAP wrote,

(Our beloved Arvind Kejriwal has a mild fever and sore throat since yesterday and is on self-isolation on doctors' advice. Tomorrow he will get a Covid-19 test at 9 am. We all pray for your good health.)

Raghav Chaddha also made a tweet saying,
