37 Dead And Over 200 Injured In Horrific Delhi Violence Reveals Hospital

NEW DELHI: The terrifying Delhi riots have killed at least 37 people and have injured over 200 people reveals the collective hospitals' data. Delhi is going through the worst of the times after the CAA protestors and supporters clashed in the national capital. 

Officials have stated that 34 people died in Dilshad Garden's Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and 3 died in Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital. At the latter hospital, two people succumbed to injuries whereas one was brought dead. 

Sunil Kumar, the Medical Superintendent said in a statement that was released by the hospital on Thurday, "Nine patients have died at the GTB hospital during the treatment while twenty-five riot victims were brought dead at the hospital."

He also said that the hospital received and treated around 215 people who were the victim of the riot since February 2. Now, 51 injured people are currently being treated in the different departments of the GTB hospital. 

Kumar about the postmortem of the dead said, "The post-mortem exams has been done for 8 more bodies, apart from 4 that was done earlier. All have been handed over to the attendants. Autopsy request for these had come from concerned IO (Investigating Officer)."
