MUMBAI: Actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter Aaradhya Bachchan recently performed at her school's annual function. The Starkid stunned everyone with her brilliant plea for women empowerment and safety.

A video surfaced the Internet where Aaradhya confidently speaks about the new world (that we all hope of) where women will be safe. In the video, she says, "I am Kanya, I am the dream, the dream of a new age. We will awake in the new world, a world where I will be safe. I will be loved. I will be respected. A world where my voice will not be silenced by the ignorance of arrogance but will be heard with the understanding of wisdom. A world where knowledge will come from the book of life, flowing freely to the river of humanity."

The little Bachchan was seen dressed in a red and yellow saree with a green belt around the waist. She donned a bindi and a gajra and was definitely a picture of poise. She also shared the stage with several other kids and some women standing behind them.

Several pictures went viral of Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Big B who came to the school to support their princess. Other big celebs like Shah Rukh Khan along with wife Gauri Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Raveena Tandon also attended the event.

Recently, Aishwarya also opened up about the life of a Starkid who is and will always be surrounded by the paparazzi. She said, "Protect is the keyword, and it’s the natural instinct of every parent. There’s no getting away from this; it is who we are. And we’ll be like this, I like saying, till my last breath. Having said that, however much we would like to discuss it, it’s not going away. This is the way of our chosen life, this is part of our industry."
