MUMBAI: The team of the forthcoming film, Angrezi Medium has released a song ahead of the film's release. It's not an ordinary song as the biggest Bollywood actresses of this generation have joined hands to collaborate for this number! The song is titled 'Kudi Nu Nachne De'.
The video features Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani and of course Radhika Madan, who is also starring in the film. As the title of the song suggests, these divas have let themselves loose and danced their hearts out, like no one is watching! Some shots of the song have been filmed in a handheld camera, which has been caught by the actresses as they danced passionately.
Bollywood is known for having heavy choreographed numbers in almost every one of their songs, however, in this video, there was no such thing and the famous leading ladies made the song their own and put their own touch to it by adding their own funky moves. It seems like a celebration of womanhood and has co-incidentally been released a few days before Women's day.

The song has been sung by Vishal Dadlani, penned down by Priya Saraiya and composed by the duo Sachin-Jigar. Some of the actresses also shared their experience of filming the song. Katrina Kaif said, "Irrfan (Khan, actor) and Homi (director of the film) are two of my most favourite people, so when he called me there was no question of me not stepping in. I feel that when we can be there for someone, we should. That’s how it should be in our industry."
Anushka Sharma stated, "When Homi sent me the song, it was on a loop and it still is. This song is going to make everyone super happy."
Filmmaker Homi Adajania also expressed gratitude regarding all the actresses wholeheartedly agreeing to film this song, "The Angrezi Medium journey has been unlike anything I’ve experienced. It’s been made with so much love and positivity and this video takes the spirit ahead. It’s a glimpse of what love and positivity look like. These are beautiful people who gave us time with little notice, selflessly pitched in and I love them for this.”

'Angrezi Medium' will hit the theatres on 12th March 2020 and also features Deepak Dobriyal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Dimple Kapadia, Zakir Hussain and Pankaj Tripathi in other important roles.
