MUMBAI: Bollywood beauty Shraddha Kapoor has always been very vocal about the issue of safety and protection of animals. The actress is indeed very impressed by the efforts of Rajasthani locals from a rural area who have been doing their best to help the animals in this adverse time of the pandemic.
On her official social media handle, Kapoor shared an article about the villagers of Rajasthan who dug out reservoirs in order to help the thirsty animals in these times where the scorching heat and coronavirus has taken its toll.
She was showering praises to the localities and captioned the post with this heartfelt message, "The empathy shown by the people from Rajasthan's Pali village is heartwarming. Thank you for your selfless efforts."

Apart from this, Shraddha also penned down a poem on her social media from the viewpoint of a caged animal, expressing the freedom of having a life outside of the zoo.
In her post, she wrote, "A lot of us are feeling anxious and ''caged'' during this lockdown. Imagine being taken away from your family, your home and being locked up for your entire life?"
She concluded with a strong statement, "Animals have feelings just like us. They get depressed when separated from their natural habitats and loved ones. Why should we believe that we have the right to take away their freedom?"
