MUMBAI: Saif Ali Khan is all set to come back to the silver screen with a commercial film after two years’ worth of intense acting of a bold cop on Netflix produced ‘Sacred Games’. His last release 'Lal Kaptaan', where we saw him as a bounty hunter, wasn't much of a hit at the box office.
Jawaani Jaaneman’s first trailer is all set to drop on 9th January, which is quite soon. The marketing team of the upcoming film surely knows how to keep the audience engaged. This is because, they just released a new poster for the film, which features Saif and Alaya Furniturewala together for the first time. Alaya is the daughter of actress Pooja Bedi and will be marking her debut through the film.
The production house, ‘Pooja Entertainment’ on their Instagram page, shared the poster which shows Saif Ali Khan unleashing is inner Marilyn Monroe in a candy coloured red-white bath robe. While Alaya is down on the floor blowing wind through a table fan. The caption read “A little quirk, a little sass, and too much funk! ????#JawaaniJaaneman trailer out on 9th January.” The actors are supposed to portray a father daughter duo and we are surely finding these quirky posters to be highly entertaining!
The film will also star Tabu in a major role and it is being directed by Nitin Kakkar. Prior to this, Nitin debuted into Bollywood as a director with his movie ‘Filmistaan’, which ended up winning a national awards for Best Feature Film in Hindi in 2013. Needless to say, expectations and stakes are way too high for this soon to release dramedy!
