Chiranjeevi was last seen in Surender Reddy directorial 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy'-- a Telugu period drama where he played the Kurnool-based freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The film also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. The movie was produced by Ram Charan and had a staggering budget of Rs 275 crore. It collected over Rs 300 crore at the box-office. The film failed to live up to its hype and bombed at the box office.
