MUMBAI: The trailer for Chris Hemsworth's upcoming film extraction just got released. It's a Netflix original film and has been shot in India with locations like Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
Chris took to his Instagram to share the glimpse of the film by saying, "So happy to finally be able to share the trailer for EXTRACTION with you!
I’m very proud of all the hard work that has been poured into this project. This has been a difficult few months for all of us, and we hope this will provide a bit of entertainment while we are all staying home. Check it out April 24th on @netflix"
The trailer looks extremely anticipating and thrilling with lots of hardcore action scenes and picturesque shots. Hemsworth is portraying the role of Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary out on a mission to rescue an international crime lord's kidnapped son. Since the film has been shot in regions like Bangladesh and India, acclaimed Bollywood stars like Pankaj Tripathi, Manoj Bajpayee and Randeep Hooda also have major roles in the film.
In fact, Hemsworth was all set to come to India to promote his film. But that was before the globally spread Coronavirus pandemic led to a lockdown and a situation of self quarantining all across the globe. Chris also shared a video with a special message to all his fans in India. He said, "Namaste India. Chris Hemsworth here, all the way from Australia. As you may have heard, I was incredibly excited to come to India and celebrate this movie where it was filmed. My time in your country during production was unforgettable and I was looking forward to returning."
"But, you know all that is happening in the world at the moment. I, like you, am staying home. I know things are not easy right now for everyone so I wanted to share something I hope you'll enjoy. I want to keep an eye out tomorrow for the trailer debut of my new film, ‘Extraction''. This movie is an incredibly action-packed ride, directed by my good friend Sam Hargrave. Netflix will be releasing it everywhere on April 24," he concluded.
