NEW DELHI: Making the nation groove to the beats of 'Dilbar', 'O Saki Saki'. 'Ankh Maarey', 'Ek Toh Kum Zindagaani' and so on, through her melodious voice, singer Neha Kakkar has spoken about her views regarding joining the Indian film industry in terms of acting.
Kakkar says she will consider acting only if she is sure that the film which has been offered to her turns out to be a 'big hit'. When asked about progress in her career in terms of acting, she said, "Till now, singers who have tried their hands in doing films have not been successful. So, if in case I do it, I should be absolutely sure that the film becomes a big hit, then only I will do it otherwise I won't.."
She also revealed that she doesn't want to take up acting just for the sake of doing it.
Neha said, "I wouldn't just do films for the sake of doing it. When I feel that yes this film will be a hit then only I will do it."
Neha was recently making headlines when Aditya Narayan, the host of Indian Idol, the reality show which is also judged by her proposed marriage to her in front of the national television. That's not all, the 'Tattad Tattad' hitmaker managed to convince both his and her parents to agree to the idea! Alas, the 'Aao Raja' singer eventually spilled the beans and said no such thing is happening and it was merely just a stunt to boost up the ratings of the reality show.
