MUMBAI: The trailer of the most awaited Rohit Shetty directorial 'Sooryavanshi' just dropped and it is winning hearts on a massive level. This is not only because of the power-packed masala vibes it gives off but also because of how it showcases patriotism and Hindu-Muslim harmony. During a time like this where the country is in grave danger amidst religious disputes, it seems like the trailer really struck a chord with the public!
At the launch event of the 'Sooryavanshi' trailer, filmmaker Rohit Shetty addressed the Delhi riots. He said, "What is happening in Delhi or the country is a serious issue. There is a whole bunch of people talking about it. I think at this moment the best thing would be to keep calm. Our officials and the government and the people are working on it in Delhi."
Shetty further continued, "We're here in Mumbai at a trailer launch having a good time, and to talk about those suffering in Delhi would be the easiest thing to do. Right now, the best thing is to keep quiet and calm. Everyone is talking and that is only increasing chaos. Keep calm, people are working out the situation. We have no idea about the ground realities. None of us knows what it feels like to be in riots or in a situation like that. It''s horrible and devastating. We shouldn't indulge in such talks right now."
The whole team of Sooryavanshi, including the superstars Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn, were present at the launch. The forthcoming film is the 4th instalment of Rohit Shetty's cop universe which contains films like Singham, Singham 2 (which starred Ajay Devgn) and Simmba (which starred Ranveer Singh). Both these actors also have a cameo in the upcoming film.
Producer of the film, Karan Johar and leading lady, Katrina Kaif were also present at the launch event.
The film will hit the theatres on 24 March 2020.
