MUMBAI: After working together in two films Talaash and 3 Idiots, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan will be back on screen together with Laal Singh Chaddha. However, the actress said that she auditioned for the movie for the first time in her career and it was because of Aamir Khan.
Revealing the reason why she agreed to audition for the role in Laal Singh Chaddha, Kareena said there was science behind this decision of the superstar Khan. She said, "I wouldn’t have agreed to do this for anyone except Aamir. He is a genius, and he would want to do the best for his film. If he asked me to audition, it is only because he knew I was perfect for the part. But he wanted to be sure of what he was seeing in me. There’s science to that decision."

Further, she also appreciated her chemistry with Aamir and said that she knew she bagged the part the minute she read two scenes with him. She also applauded her current co-star and said, "Aamir is as transformative as Tom Hanks. I am his biggest fan. He is the only actor who leaves me tongue-tied."
Previously, Bebo also spoke about her last films with Aamir Khan and claimed it to be an "honor" to work with him. She said, "I think it’s an absolute honor and dream come true for me to always stand in the same frame as Aamir Khan because I am a huge fan, everyone knows that. I have always admired Aamir since Raakh (1989). In fact, I think he is one of the soundest minds in Indian cinema."

Aamir-Kareena starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is an official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' classic 1994 movie Forrest Gump. The movie will hit the theatres on Christmas 2020.
