Kanika Becomes Target Again As Her Pictures With Prince Charles Goes Viral

LONDON: Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor's pictures with Prince Charles went viral after the Prince of Wales tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Now, we all know what follows the next, right? Yes, numerous trolls!

Kanika Kapoor, who recently was on the receiving end of criticism for her carelessness regarding COVID-19, has once again come under the radar of the trollers. The singer was tested positive last week and it was alleged that she escaped airport security check after her return from London.

Days after, Prince Charles, 72, was tested positive on Wednesday and thus, netizens could not stop themselves but criticize Kapoor again as their pictures spread like fire on social media. The picture showed Kanika in an orange dress talking to the Prince of Wales. 

However, let's give you a fact check! The pictures are way back from 2015 when Prince Charles and his wife Duchess of Cornwell, Camilla, 72, hosted the Elephant Family charity ‘Travels to my Elephants’. So, it is very obvious that she couldn't have infected him then when the virus did not even exist. 

But, trollers seem not to care about such facts and instantly targetted the woman. Here are some of the reactions. 

Kanika was termed as a criminal by people all over the country after she came in contact with hundreds of people post her return from the UK. Those people also included certain politicians and businessmen and hence, Kapoor put a lot of lives at stake. One of the BJP leaders had also met President Ram Nath Kovind.  But, there came a relief when many of them tested negative for the novel coronavirus.

Kanika, who is undergoing treatment for the deadly virus in Lucknow, was tested positive in the third report too. The doctors said that she could not leave until two tests show her negative.
