MUMBAI: The 'Paan Singh Tomar' star Irrfan Khan has been away from cinema for quite a few years following his battle with cancer. However, soon he'll be seen on the silver screen as he will be making a comeback with his much-anticipated movie 'Angrezi Medium'. The trailer will be released on Thursday, 13th February ahead of which Khan has shared a bittersweet message.
In a video shared by the makers, there are several stills from the movie along with a voice-over message from Irrfan. He not only gave an update about his ailment but also mentioned that all the people associated with the movie gave their hearts and souls to it.
He says, "Hello brothers and sister. This is Irrfan. I’m here with you and yet I’m not. This film Angrezi Medium is very special for me. I truly wanted to promote this film with the same love with which we made it. But my body has been gatecrashed by some unwanted guests… Whatever happens, I’ll share it with you all. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Sounds good,… but when you get a handful of lemons it isn’t that easy to squeeze them. And we always have the choice to stay positive. In situations like these, it’s up to us to make lemonade."
"And with this positivity," he continues, "We made this film. I hope it will give you something and make you laugh, cry and probably laugh again. Enjoy the trailer and be kind to each other and watch the film. And yes, wait for me."
Wise words, right? Also, several lessons to learn! We are definitely waiting for him!
