10 points to Gryffindor! Dumbledore rejoiced as Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Evanna Lynch, Bonnie Wright, and Matthew Lewis got together for an early Christmas celebration. Harry Potter fans received a pleasant surprise in the form of a mini-reunion as the five cast members met in London for a meet-up and posted about it on Instagram.
Tom Felton, who played the role of Draco Malfoy aka the boy who complaints a lot to his father, first took to his official Instagram handle to share the group picture. The boy who lived (Daniel Radcliff) and the boy whose pet rat was a man (Rupert Grint) were missing in action. Nevertheless, fans were delighted to find the cast back together.
Earlier in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rupert admitted that there was always ‘playground romance’ between his co-stars Emma Watson and Tom Felton during their Harry Potter days.
When asked if he could see the two together, Grint replied with a “Yeah I could”. “There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark.” The 31-year-old actor said that he didn’t want to stir up any rumours…but boy did he? He stirred up a cauldron full of gossip. Mischief was certainly not managed. “But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance … I didn’t have any sparks. I was spark-free.”
