The second part of the franchise titled 'Phir Hera Pheri' was ended on a cliffhanger and its been 13 years that we are awaiting what will happen next. So, the cliffhanger was an enough proof that there will be a third part but the question is how long do we have to wait more.

A few years ago, producer Firoz Nadiadwala did announce its third installment with two more actors added to the cast while Akshay was missing. The movie would have featured Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty reprising their roles with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham joining the fun ride. However, the project was shelved for various reasons afterwards.

One thing that we are sure of is we cannot imagine 'Hera Pheri' without Akki. His antic and hilarious acts are pure gold and that is why we hope that soon the makers will announce the movie with the original cast and let us witness the joy ride once again.
