Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora ended their almost 20 year-old-marriage back in 2017. Both of them made headlines even after their divorce. The reason was their post marital relationships. While Malaika Arora has been dating superstar Arjun Kapoor for almost 2 years now, Arbaaz Khan has his heart set on Georgia Andriani, an Italian model. It is alleged that the ‘Dabangg’ producer will also marry the Italian diva as both their families have given the green signal to their relationship.
In a latest interview, Khan opened up about his divorce. When asked about the challenges he had to face as the couple had a child who was merely 12 years of age, he explained, “When you have a child, it is a very difficult but a necessary step. It had come to a point where this was the only way to go about it to make this equation as okay as possible. My boy was almost 12 at that time, he had a fair understanding. He was aware of what was happening. There wasn’t much to explain to him.”
As far as the matter of custody was concerned, Arbaaz said that there were no issues with Arora regarding that. The pair had already conceded that their child, Arhaan needs to be with his mother at that young age. He didn’t fail to mention that Arhaan, who is 16 now , would pave his path for the future as he turns 18.
Khan’s now ex-wife Malaika Arora has also been quite open on the subject of her divorce. She has stated that the duo had to come up with a list featuring pros and cons and made a decision on the basis of what the list said. She said that the discontent amongst them had also started affecting their near and dear ones.
