Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) examination, to fill up the vacancies of computer operator and junior assistants, has been postponed. The exam to fill up 79 vacancies of computer operator and 1043 vacancies for the post of junior assistants would now be taken on the revised dates. New schedule has been uploaded on the official website 'upsssc.gov.in'.
Previously the examination for the Junior Assistant post was to be held on December 24, 2019 and the Computer Operator recruitment exam was scheduled for December 26, 2019. These recruitment exams, however, will now take place on January 4 and 10, 2020 respectively. Official information and other details regarding the change in the schedule has been uploaded by the authorities on the official website on Monday, a day before the examination. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the commission for more updates regarding the exam.
Admit Cards for these two exams were released by the UPSSSC on December 20 last with the then dates printed on them. Whether the Commission would release new admit cards for the exams or the previous ones would remain valid is yet to be confirmed as no instruction came regarding this.
The examinations would be held at 16 exam centres - Agra, Ayodhya, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur City, Lucknow, Mathura, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Seetapur, and Varanasi.
