UPSC Mains 2019: Result Declared; Interview Round Begins From 27 Feb

The result of the main examinations that were conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the year 2019, were declared on 14th January 2020 i.e. Tuesday. 
Individuals appeared for the examinations from 20th September 2019 to 29th September 2019. They can check their result from the official website. The result is available in the form of a pdf extension.


After this, the Personality Test will be conducted for the selected candidates which is an interview round. After clearing this particular round, individuals will be eligible to apply for Central Services (Group A and B) like Indian Police Service, Indian Administrative Service and Indian Foreign Service.


The e-summon Letters for the Personality Test round will start being available from 27th January 2020. Candidates will be able to download this document from the following official websites:

Note that the commission shall not issue the document in hard-copy. Neither will the commission willingly make changes to the date and time of the interview round, unless absolutely necessary.


The mark sheet of the candidates who fail to qualify will be uploaded on the Commission’s Website under 15 days from the declaration of the final result. This will happen after the Personality Test round and will be made available for a duration of 30 days.
