Jharkhand Board Exams Begin For Class 10 And 12

The state of Jharkhand has commenced its board exams from today i.e. 11 February 2020 for classes 10 and 12. They will conclude on 28  February 2020. One the first day, the class 10 students appeared for the exams of the subjects of:

  • Commerce
  • Home Science
  • IIT
  • ITS
  • HEL
  • MAE
  • SEC
  • RET
  • BAW
  • TAT

Meanwhile, class 12 students appeared for their  Vocational paper.

The exams are being held in two sittings:

  • Timings for Class 10 Exams: 9:45 am to 1:00 pm
  • Timings for Class 12 Exams: 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The students are being given additional time of 15 minutes to go through the question papers before beginning to write the answers. The duration of the examination can vary from 2-3 hours depending on the subject of the examination.

The final paper is scheduled for 28 February. All three streams of class 12 will be appearing for different papers like :

Science: Biology

Commerce: Business Maths

Arts: Georaphy

Class 10 students will appear for their Sanskrit paper on the last day.

The results are expected to be declared by the Jharkhand Board around the month of May.
