Kartarpur Corridor: 2,200 Sikhs Reach Pakistan; Video Song Released By Pak Govt

Kartarpur Corridor's opening is fixed on 9th November 2019. To mark the 550th birth anniversary of Sikhism over 2,200 Sikhs fom India have arrived at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib in Pakistan's Punjab Province.

Guru Nanak Dev was born at the sire where the Gurdwara Janamasthan Nankana Sahib is built making 2019 its 550th anniversary.

The Sikh pilgrims were received by senior officials of the ETPB i.e Evacuee Trust Property Board.

Out of all the Sikhs, Gurmeet Singh the group leader said that they have brought a message with them. The message is spreading Love & Peace and that's what their visit symbolizes. They are going to visit the opening of the Katarpur Corridor on November 9.


Now ahead of the opening Pakistan Government has released a video song.

This video by the Pak Government has already gone viral on social media. If you look at the video properly you will see the video has posters that can also be found inside the gurdwaras in Pakistan as well as in India including the Golden Temple. These have been made to show respect for the Sikhs.

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said Pakistan can still not be trusted as their sudden love for Sikhs seems like a hoax. The corridor's opening is awaited from the last 70 years and now suddenly they are opening it.

Amarinder Singh also said:

"We cannot trust Pakistan and we should keep our eyes open as the corridor can be misused by the ISI. Controversial referendum 2020 campaign is already on in Pakistan."
