There are a number of features that are almost here. The list starts from the most awaited Dark Theme or we can the Dark Mode that every other app is calling the theme.

Dark Mode is a dark theme that is easy on the eye and some people find it more attractive but it honestly depends on you and your taste.

If you are using a device that has an AMOLED display then this dark mode is going to add much more than just looking pretty. On AMOLED panel the black color can actually save battery, the pixels won't wake up until and unless another color needs to be displayed replacing the black resulting in less consumption of the battery.

The second feature is "Self-destructing messages"

This means that the user can set-up a timer after which the messages will be deleted automatically. This feature is the reason why Snapchat is famous. Now WhatsApp is going to bring this to itself making some users really happy.

The third feature is "Multiple Device Support"

Have you ever tried logging in your WhatsApp account two devices at the same time? Well if you did, you know that the first device will be logged out automatically as soon as you log in to the second device. Now after the new update of Whatsapp the users will be able to login WhatsApp to two or more devices simultaneously just like Facebook.

The last feature is "Hide Muted Status"

The current mute status feature does not hide the status you hide completely, so this is going to be changed and the muted status will go to a separate tab once you mute it.

These features are coming in the next update and a recent report by WABetaInfo also confirms that the dark mode is almost ready for the use. So the update can be expected in the next few weeks.
