The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite rumors are in the air for quite a time now. The 'lite' variant was spotted by XDA Developers on FCC. FCC is the 'Federal Communications Commission'.
A filing was made on FCC by Samsung which is of the new Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite. The filing has revealed some of the details about the device like some connectivity features of the phone which includes LTE CAT 14.
The phone will support 45W fast charging and this was once a rumor and now is confirmed from the filing. The Model number of the device is SM-G770F and this is the same model number which was prominent in the earlier leaks.
There was an IMEI number too in the filing which belongs to a device named 'Galaxy R5 device' which is expected to be released after getting renamed to the Galaxy S10 Lite.
If we talk about the specifications, the S10 Lite is going to feature
The triple camera setup used in the S10 Lite will use a combination of 48MP + 12MP + 5MP cameras. The details about the front camera still remain a mystery but it is going to be a punch-hole camera like the other Samsung devices.
Now the question arises is why Samsung calls it 'Lite'? As all the specifications as per the leaks tell us that the device has the flagship-grade specifications and nothing seems to be trimmed down so it should not be called Lite right? To find the answer to this question we will need to wait for Samsung to launch the device officially.
Earlier, the launch date of this device was expected to be 22 October 2019 and now the launch of the device is expected to be in January 2020.
