Honor V30 & V30 Pro Launched: Attractive Enough?

Honor the sub-brand of Huawei has recently launched two new devices called the 'Honor V30 & Honor V30 Pro'. The launch took place today in China and the devices will also launch in India soon enough.

Both the devices come with  6.57-inch Full HD+ display, if we talk about the cameras then on the front both the devices contain dual-punch-hole cameras which includes 32MP + 8MP combination.

If we talk about the hardware that is powering the phone then let us tell you both the phone runs the Kirin 990 SoC and comes with an integrated 5G modem. Both the devices come with the support for NSA/SA 5G & 45+ 5G capabilities.

The Honor V30 Pro has two variants:

  • 8GB/128GB
  • 8GB/256GB

and the Honor V30 has these two variants

  • 6GB/128GB
  • 8GB/128GB

Another difference between these two devices is the camera. The V30 comes with a triple camera setup of 40MP+8MP+8MP with OIS while the V30 Pro comes with  40MP+8MP+12MP with dual OIS.

Both the camera setups are capable of shooting 4k HDR Videos, EIS and ultra-low vision photos.

There is a 4,200mAh battery inside both the phones that will provide the users about a whole day of backup on moderate usage. Both the devices support 40W fast-charging and the V30 Pro also supports 27W fast charging.



The Honor V30 is priced at CNY3,299 (~Rs.33,000) for the base 6GB/128GB variant, while the Honor V30 Pro is priced at CNY3,899 (~Rs.39,000) for the base 8GB/128GB variant.
