Google's Paper Phone Experiment: What Is Happening?

After the launch of Pixel 4 which is not coming to India as we all know. Google has initiated an experiment called "Paper Phone" as a part of the digital wellbeing experiments platform.

What is Paper Phone?

Paper Phone is an Android app that lets you print out a “customized booklet with all of the key information” that you may need during the day.

Yes, you are reading this right. They want you to print a mobile phone with some of the key features like Contacts, To-do list, and even map.

The app links to your google account and allows you to choose what needs to be printed on either side of the pages. These are the following options that can be printed!

  • Contacts
  • Tasks
  • Weather details
  • Maps
  • Cutouts to store your debit/credit cards.

This app can give you access to more paper apps that will allow you to print stuff like 

  • Recipes
  • Phrasebooks
  • Sudoku
  • and some other small games that can be played on paper.
