As memes are in trend from quite a long time now and to be in trend also means being in memes. Confusing? Well, to make it easier one might say Memes and Trends go hand in hand. Facebook understood this and launched its new meme-making app called 'Whale'.

The application gives the users the ability to make memes using the already given templates and even make their own templates. Users can create images and share them on social media. The app is available only on iOS that too in limited regions.

The app was listed on the Canadian App Store and according to that page, the app will allow the users to add emojis, create their own image stickers, apply filters, use popular effects, use crop and cut tools, etc. The company will offer a fun way for users to create and share memes on the go.
