NEW DELHI: Post Jyotiraditya Scindia's exit from the Congress and joining the opposition BJP, Rahul Gandhi retweeted a December 2018 picture alongside the then party member and MP CM Kamal Nath.

'The two most powerful warriors are patience and time,' was captioned that is a line of a quote from Leo Tolstoy.

This twitter post was shared back in 2018 when there was a tussle over the formation of Madhya Pradesh government and Kamal Nath became the chief minister.

There were charges that Scindia could not meet Rahul and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. However, Rahul Gandhi rejected this charge and said that he was the only person who could walk into his house at any time.

Scindia also alleged that he tried to contact Sonia Gandhi but failed to reach out to her.

After joining the Bhartiya Janta Party, Scindia hit out his former party Congress and said, "The Congress today is not the same as it was in its original avatar," adding that they were in denial of the ground reality.

"I had a dream when the Congress formed the government in MP in 2018. Eighteen months later, none of the promises were met, including the ones that of farmers," said Scindia.

He accused the Congress of going back on promises as well as indulging in corruption. "Today 'transfer' is an industry in MP," he alleged.
