NEW DELHI: This morning after Diwali the air quality was at 306 for Delhi and 356 for Noida. In Gurugram it fell to 279 after Diwali celebrations.
According to SAFAR i.e the System of Air Quality & Weather Forecasting and Research the air quality of Delhi is extremely poor today.

The pollution in the air is equivalent to smoking almost 20 Cigarettes per day.

The major reason behind this is the emission of crackers. In spite of being banned in many areas people still got the crackers from other areas and then burned them. This is why the air quality got worse and according to SAFAR, the air condition is going to become worse in the upcoming days.

Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi has announced the implementation of the Odd-Even scheme from November 4 to 15 in order to control the pollution.
