JAIPUR: The 69-year-old Italian coronavirus patient, Andrey Carley, who was cured successfully, died on Friday due to a heart attack, confirmed the health officials.
On February 9th, Andrey was admitted to the isolation ward of the SMS hospital and his reports came out to be positive for the deadly infection. On March 14th, the man was tested negative, thus, he was treated successfully.
His wife requested the Italian Embassy to shift him at Jaipur's Fortis Hospital after his reports came out negative. Afterward, he was shifted there on March 15th but showed no improvement. He had infections in his lungs and was on Life Support System.
Andrey was part of the same tourist group in Italy who came with 16 people and were found to be COVID-19 positive. Andrey Carly's wife was found coronavirus positive. However, after undergoing treatment, her report came out negative.
