The Weeknd Drops New Song, Twitter Reacts

Making normal announcements about upcoming singles are so last year! Now, they "tease" you with blurry images and cryptic messages. Following the new trend just like ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, The Weeknd has finally dropped his new song after posting two obscure social media posts. 

On Monday, he posted an extremely blurry image of himself on social media and captioned the post, "the fall starts tomorrow night."

This post was followed by a "less" blurry photo, alongside which he wrote, "TONIGHT WE START A NEW BRAIN MELTING PSYCHOTIC CHAPTER! LET’S GO!"

Finally, The Weeknd posted a picture of himself in thick-rimmed glasses and a bright red suit jacket- very '80s, announcing his new single. He took to his official social media handle and wrote, "heartless. out now. everywhere."

Abel Tesfaye had recently unveiled  “Blinding Lights” in the Apple Music radio show Memento Mori and now he unexpectedly goes and drops another single, much to the delight of his fans. The song has a slight touch of Hip-Hop and needless to say, netizens are vibing big time! 

Just after the song release, memes, and reactions started pouring in on Twitter and as the reputation goes, they were hilarious!
